We just paid a travel insurance claim in 3 minutes

We buy insurance in case something goes wrong. And when it does, our hearts sink as we realise: now I’m going to have to claim on my insurance. And it’s not surprising… endless forms to fill in, the stress of not knowing when the insurer will pay up, not really understanding all those legal terms, and having to continuously chase.  An unlucky incident that took seconds could take months to be cleared up.

Within a further minute, our system verified the flight from Honolulu to Melbourne was late by 9½ hours, checked her uploaded boarding pass, and authorised a $200 payment to Mrs T’s bank account.
