Blog: Fight like your world depends on it -

Fight like your world depends on it. Because it does.

Helping you means the world to us. And it is this focus that energises us to stand up for the planet, to say that it is wrong to pollute, and that it is right to demand action on climate change.

A healthy planet is fundamental to the wellbeing of each and every one of us. Whilst many Australians embrace this, we want to help empower change and ensure our Government takes action against climate change. That means a clear pathway to 100% renewable energy for Australia and doing everything we can to protect the vulnerable communities that are most exposed to the consequences of climate change.

Earlier this week, the Huddle team was lucky to be at the launch of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, Al Gore’s anticipated follow-up to his Oscar-winning movie from 2006.

Following the screening, Al Gore himself shared his thoughts about the fight against climate change, the major setbacks, and his optimism that “we will win this”. However, he was quick to provide a warning that if we didn’t accelerate the progress the world has made since his first film, we may be too late to save the Great Barrier Reef.

At Huddle, we’re working hard to help our customers minimise their environmental footprint, for example by offsetting the emissions of their cars and to maximise their positive impact through our Profit for the Planet program.

We hope you can agree that it is wrong to pollute and that it is right to fight for our planet. We now look to you to join us in this fight, because when we take a stand, together we can make a big difference.
